January 14th

We read some new books today. Juju is quite interested in books that have animals and are brightly colored. I can tell when she is really interested in a book when she tries to change the page or chew on it. She is starting to like her jumping swing. I put the changing table pad under her so she could bend her knees and start to jump. She loves the piano in front of her while she is in her swing. I can hardly wait until she starts taking real piano lessons. Rosco, the dog, likes it also when she is in the jumper swing. She is at eye level with him. The right height for licking. Juju had an awesome nap in the morning, but did not want to hear about it this afternoon. Her room theme is birds and today there were about 3 thousand black birds in the yard. She was fascinated by looking at them. I tapped on the window and the all flew around and away and she had a big smile on her face. She is so much more alert and aware this week than she was last week. Rolling over is just a game now since she's so good at it. New challenges tomorrow.
