We picked Juju and her mom up to go out to breakfast at a real old-school coffeehouse in St. Louis. When we got to her house she was giving her mom a hard time. Poppy picked her up and she immediately started smiling. She got up early and didn't have a nap yet so she was ready for a car ride. Her best naps take place in the car.
We got to the coffeehouse and she saw a little girl about 3 or 4 running back and forth. It is amazing how children recognize other children. Juju has gotten to the point where she makes eye contact with everyone. She made eye contact with this little girl and they smiled at each other. Oh, to be as innocent in our thoughts as children are.
We had lattes and breakfast and Juju had her breakfast and it was time to get back in the car for a good nap. And she did.
